ミュージシャン/ライター/フォトグラファーという様々な側⾯を持つ今期待の新世代DIYアーティスト。心地よく響くウィスパー・ボイスと歌詞が特徴で、ヒップ・ホップ、R&B、ゴスペルなど様々なジャンルの要素を感じることができる。楽曲制作もさることながら、ミュージック・ビデオの制作、楽曲のジャケットやwebサイトなども全てセルフ・プロデュースしている。 2019年２⽉には曲「シティーシティー」がSpotifyのバイラル・チャートにランクインし、2019年7⽉にはSpotifyの新人発掘プロジェクト「Early Noise」のカバーを飾る。Enter Tech Lab主催『CHACCA CHALLEGE』で最優秀賞を獲得。シングル「積乱雲」は2019年のベスト・ミュージックとして数多くのキュレーターからピックアップされ、グラミー賞にノミネートされたプロデューサー/ DJのstarRoなど、日本の最もホットなプロデューサーからの支持を得ている。2020年にはVirgin Music Label and Artist Servicesから、シングル「CODE」および5曲入りEP『ID20』をリリース、作品の幅を広げるとともに新たなリスナー層をつかんできている。9月にはシングル「煌めき」をリリース。流動的でボーダーレスな芸術性を持つokkaaaは、インディペンデントな姿勢を保ちつつ、現⾏シーンを横断する今期待のマルチ・クリエイターである。

“okkaaa”  is an artist/song-writer based in Tokyo, born in 1999.  He is known for his signature sophisticated and mellow sounds, as well as his philosophical lyricism rooted in a multitude of genres such as hip hop, R&B and gospel. Inspired by artists such as Daniel Caesar, Hikaru Utada and writer Haruki Murakami, okkaaa produces culture of the next generation at the frontline and crosspoint of various styles of music and art.

In February 2019, “citycity” made the Spotify Japan Viral 50 chart, and in July 2019, he was featured on the cover of Spotify's "Early Noise" project.  His viral single 積乱雲 (seki-ran-un) has been picked as one of "Japan’s hottest songs of 2019” by multiple curators, and his music has garnered support from Japan’s hottest producers, including Grammy nominated producer/DJ starRo.  

His independent stance paves the way for the future generation of young Japanese producers and artists, and his edgy, diverse collaborations prove that his fluid artistry has no borders.
